Poetry Talks

End of an ear

Festival poet Raymond Antrobus has made hearing and not-hearing one of the themes in his poetry. It is no accident that he calls himself an “Investigator Of Missing Sounds”. A good reason for Poetry International to explore this theme in more depth in future years.

In this discussion, supplementing Antrobus’ performance and interview on Saturday, host Kila van der Starre and Dutch guests
Selena Waas en Ilse Jobse will explore the subject of ‘poetry in sign language’. The conversation will take place in Dutch and sign language.

This program can be seen online and in venue LantarenVenster.
