How can a poem reveal knowledge about a space? To explore these questions, the editors of the book <em>Poetics of Place<\/em> enter into conversation with the poets and architects of and around the Writingplace editorial team, a joint journal initiative of the Faculty of Architecture at Delft University of Technology that explores the interplay between architecture, literature and spatial imagination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Angeliki Sioli discusses, together with Jeremy Allan Hawkins and Andrew Carr, the place of architecture in the work of Seamus Heaney. Vincent Cellucci reflects on psychiatric hospitals with architectural scholar Eline van Leeuwen.
