This is the moment to get to know both the poetry and the person behind it.

Aracelis Girmay (1977) is likely your favourite poet’s favourite poet. She is one of the most influential contemporary poets in the United States. Girmay shares Wagner’s fascination with the smallest details, while also drawing your attention to urgent realities that are too often overlooked.

Jan Wagner (1971) is considered one of the most important contemporary German-language poets and is internationally celebrated for his craftsmanship. His work is poetry to savour, rich in playfulness and layered observation. Host Tsead Bruinja opens the main reading with a short introductory conversation. The poets then read from their own work, bringing a selection of brand-new poems, an ode to the festival theme, or a surprising gem from their oeuvre.

[266
97

post-1106","event","type-event","status-publish","hentry","venue-lantarenvenster-5","event_type-reading
[97
[97
english
["english","dutch
["Engels","Nederlands
[171,213

Aracelis Girmay (1977, USA) is probably your favorite poet’s favorite poet.
