The theatre is situated on a square. Schmidtplein, behind Zwemcentrum Rotterdam (Van Swietenlaan). Please note: a disabled parking permit is required for these spaces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Entering the venue<\/strong><br>Both the entrance and the venue itself are step-free, and all halls can be reached by lift. Are you entering the auditorium in a wheelchair? We will make sure the space is adapted accordingly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Facilities<\/strong><br>The lift is operational and there is an accessible toilet. Theater Zuidplein has assistive listening equipment available in the halls. This equipment can be borrowed free of charge and can be connected to any hearing aid with a telecoil. If you do not have a hearing aid, you can receive a headset receiver instead. The floor manager on duty that evening will assist you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are happy to offer visitors with visual impairments front-row seating where possible. You are welcome to make free use of a Sunflower lanyard. These can be collected from the box office staff at LantarenVenster. This lets us know that you may need some extra help, understanding, or time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Low-stimulation space<\/strong><br>During Poetry International Festival, you are welcome in the foyer\u2019s Silent Poetry Nook: a low-stimulation space where you can step away from the crowds for a while. This area has been specially created for visitors who need calm, quiet, or a moment to catch their breath. Comfortable seating is available, and you can make use of noise-reducing headphones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Accessibility by transport<\/strong><br>If you are travelling by public transport, Wilhelminaplein metro station is the closest stop, located 700 metres from the venue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are several parking spaces on Wilhelminapier for holders of a European disabled parking permit: eight general disabled parking spaces on Otto Reuchlinweg near Prinsendam (behind Nieuwe Luxor), and one general disabled parking space on Otto Reuchlinweg near Westerdam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Do you need assistance getting from the car park or metro station to one of the festival venues?
