Poetry Circle is the leading national platform for performance poetry in the Netherlands. Across the country, it provides emerging spoken word artists with spaces and development programmes to grow their craft. In Rotterdam, this community takes shape as Poetry Circle 010: a close-knit group of poets who, over the past year, have worked on their artistic voice under the guidance of coaches Tyler Koudijzer and Benzokarim.
Their final presentation brings together everything they have learned, experienced and created – stories, voices and raw expression on stage. These are writers on the verge of breaking through in the world of performance poetry. During the Poetry International Festival, the 2026 cohort presents a collective poem in which every word carries an exclamation mark. The presentation is hosted by Timothy Toto and Annemarijn Tamminga.
