Esohe Weyden (1990, BEL) is a writer, poet, presenter, and lawyer. She currently serves as the poet laureate of Antwerp, which has taken her to a variety of stages, from literary festivals to national ceremonies. Her work explores language as a space for identity, community, and imagination. With her collection Tussentaal (2022), she was nominated for the C. Buddingh’ Prize. Alongside her literary practice, she is a doctoral researcher in family property law at the University of Antwerp.
