Kevin-Ahn Kwang Soo-Groen does not write nor perform to impress. He speaks to reveal. His work asks us to sit with what we usually avoid and to feel more alive in the process. As an adopted South Korean boy growing up in The Netherlands ‘identity’ has always been an important question throughout his life that only led to more questions, and it took him a lifetime to make sense of this experience (and still does). Moving between poetry, identity and behavioral change, Kevin shows how words can bridge differences, challenge biases and wake us up to our own humanity.
