Damani (f.k.a. Mushroom Mosis) is a Surinamese-Dutch artist, educator, cultural worker, and producer. Their work, rooted in Africana oral traditions, healing, and Afrofuturism, moves between music, movement, and performance. They create sonic landscapes that blur the line between the everyday and the ritual. Damani’s latest album, Trace Elements, explores sound as a space of collective memory and transformation.
