Hasan Gök (NLD)

Hasan Gök (NLD) is a spoken word artist, poet, and presenter who shares a societal voice often still unheard. His work draws on the many worlds that intersect in his life: son of a Turkish father and a Kurdish mother, raised in the Netherlands, queer and Muslim, and a lover of both the spotlight of the stage and the quiet of the night. In these in-between spaces, he embodies all these identities with seeming ease, while conveying the complex emotions that accompany them.
